Frequently Asked Questions
- Can we get an H1N1 vaccination at the Medical Clinic of Big Sky???? --- you may be wondering whether you can get the H1N1 vaccine....well, if you fit into the risk groups that the government has identified: pregnant women, children 6 months to 4 years, a caretaker for a child younger than 6 months, any child or adult with an underlying medical condition, or if you are a health care provider, we are getting a "slow trickle" of both types of vaccine (nasal spray and injection), and will try and distribute the vaccine as fairly as possible....please call and check on availability. Our goal is to vaccinate every person in Big Sky, and we hope we can do this before the H1N1 virus spreads throughout our community. We have successfully vaccinated over 400 Big Sky residents for the other seasonal flu bugs, and over the years, this vaccination strategy has successfully protected our community from the flu strains that pass through here every winter. We hope that this year, with this very special virus, we can do the same.
- What are the office hours for the 2009-2010 ski season????? Our "original" office, up on the mountain, next to the ski patrol, will be open 7 days per week beginning on Thanksgiving Day, if we have our "normal" opening day. We will be up there through the last day of the ski season in April, 2010. The office will open at 10 AM, and hopefully we can all go home at 5 PM. Our Town Center office will be open to see patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, throughout the ski season.
